What does it take to keep a growing renewable energy business connected, secure and ready for the future? At OX2, cloud infrastructure supports everything from daily operations and business-critical systems to data platforms and AI. We are now looking for a Cloud & Infrastructure Lead to take ownership of our infrastructure landscape, shape its technical direction and ensure that our platforms support the business as it continues to develop.

YOU WILL

OX2 is a renewable energy company developing, constructing, owning and operating large-scale wind, solar and energy storage projects. As OX2 expands its role as an independent power producer, the demand for its digital infrastructure continues to grow. Secure, reliable and well-managed cloud platforms are essential to supporting operations across different markets, as well as the company's ambitions within data and AI.

As Cloud & Infrastructure Lead, you will take overall responsibility for OX2's cloud and infrastructure environment, spanning Azure, AWS and the services connecting them. You will set technical expectations, evaluate proposed solutions and follow up on delivery. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that infrastructure decisions support both operational needs and future digital initiatives.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Own and develop OX2's cloud infrastructure, including Azure and AWS architecture, landing zones, standards and governance.

  • Set technical direction across enterprise networking, connectivity and core infrastructure services.

  • Oversee identity and endpoint management, Windows and Linux environments, backup and recovery.

  • Strengthen cloud security and operational resilience, including disaster recovery, patching and vulnerability remediation.

  • Drive FinOps and cloud cost optimization, improving transparency around consumption, budgets and infrastructure investments.

  • Manage infrastructure suppliers and managed service providers, ensuring clear responsibilities, measurable service levels and reliable delivery.

The role has a broad international scope, with close collaboration across OX2's technology organization, business stakeholders and external partners.

YOU ARE

You have a solid background in cloud and infrastructure and experience taking responsibility for complex technical environments. You understand how architecture, networking, security and operations fit together. You bring strong experience from Azure or AWS, or both, and a good understanding of enterprise networking and infrastructure architecture. You are familiar with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform, and have experience with several of the services surrounding cloud infrastructure, such as Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Windows or Linux environments, and backup and recovery.

You have worked closely with external suppliers or managed service providers and know how to set requirements, evaluate technical solutions and follow up on delivery. You also understand the financial side of infrastructure and have experience improving operational efficiency and managing cloud costs. You are comfortable making decisions and challenging established ways of working when needed. With a practical approach, you can move between detailed technical discussions and conversations with senior management, explaining not only what needs to be done but also why it matters to the business. You have a relevant educational background and are fluent in English. Experience from the energy sector, critical infrastructure or another regulated environment is valuable, but not required.

At OX2, you will have the opportunity to influence the infrastructure supporting an international renewable energy business. With broad responsibility and considerable autonomy, you will help shape the technical foundation for OX2's operations and continued development within data, AI and digital services.
