About the Role :

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the overall technology infrastructure architecture of the company. This includes developing strategic plans, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The Infrastructure Architect will play a key role in shaping the company's technology strategy, driving innovation, and improving operational efficiency. 
 

About the team:

Global team engaged in Design and Engineering function of CIO/CTO Organization. The Infrastructure Architects in this group play a key role in shaping the company's technology strategy, driving innovation, and improving operational efficiency. 

What you will be doing:

• Develop and maintain the company's infrastructure architecture:  Create and maintain comprehensive, scalable, and secure infrastructure architecture designs that aligns with business objectives and supports current and future needs. 
• Lead cross-functional teams: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and external partners, to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions. 
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions: Develop detailed designs for infrastructure projects, including private cloud, public cloud, network, storage, and security architectures. 
• Ensure alignment with industry trends and best practices: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve the company's infrastructure architecture. 
• Develop and manage budgets: Create and manage cost estimates for infrastructure projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.  Manage financial comparisons for various solutions. 

What you bring:

• Minimum 15 to 18 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in an infrastructure architecture role 
• Proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale infrastructure architectures 
• Strong knowledge of Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Virtualization technologies (VMware, Nutanix) .
• Good Experience in Networking protocols and architectures (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Storage solutions (SAN, NAS, object storage) 
• Security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
• Willing to work in 2 Pm to 11 Pm IST shifts

Added bonus if you have:

• Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP, CCNA) 
• Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL) 
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) 
• Knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, blockchain)
