As the Cloud Enterprise Architect for Remote and Drilling Performance Applications, you'll be recognized as the leader, subject matter expert, and advisor to the business for all things Cloud. You will drive the design and development efforts related to architecture, scalability, and performance in alignment with the product roadmap. You’ll interface with multiple functions across Baker Hughes, as well as engaging with suppliers and external customers.
In this role, you'll also be responsible for:
- Conducting architectural evaluation, design, and analysis of Remote and Drilling Performance Applications
- Identifying customer’s nonfunctional requirements, analyzing alternatives, and conducting product recommendations related to software, platform, and deployment configurations.
- Facilitating Architecture and Security reviews
- Ensuring team delivers robust system solutions to meet business and Security and Compliance requirements.
- Developing, enhancing, and maintaining established service design procedures and processes
- Performing as member of high-performance Remote and Drilling Performance Applications team
- Preparing and presenting technical presentations, lab reports, analyst briefings, and/or white papers to respond to different requirements from production lines and organizational initiatives.
- Collaborating with software development teams to ensure that architectural solutions can be successfully implemented.
- Monitoring configuration management, platform layout, and hosting infrastructure.
- Automating deployment of applications and infrastructure
- Communicating effectively and proactively at all levels with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders and clients to develop and implement solutions.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or “STEM” Majors.
- Have 7+ years of experience working with architecture solutions in a multi-platform, distributed environment.
- Have demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and operating real time applications and acquisition systems.
- Have prior experience with AWS Deployments (AWS Certification preferred).
- Have experience coaching colleagues, leaders and subordinates on the latest technological advancements in the subject software.
- Demonstrated success in bringing complex projects to completion and coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
