Cloud Engineers at Rearc are visionaries, driving progress towards limitless possibilities in the cloud, they have experience using cloud best practices and contributing to teams to build and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines. They work on engagements with our customers’ teams to improve developer experience, their security position, and the overall cloud infrastructure.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure), this includes experience with compute, storage, networking, and security services using CLI, SDK, or IAC.
- 2+ years experience in Python or JavaScript, with a preference for software development background including object-oriented design and test-driven development.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK for building cloud infrastructure.
- Track record in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or Amazon ECS for container orchestration.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
What You'll Do
- Assess customers’ existing infrastructure and provide guidance on enhancing their cloud setup, security posture, automation, and developer experience.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications to cloud infrastructure, ensuring adherence to security and best practices.
- Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools to automate the deployment of immutable infrastructure, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices through continuous learning activities.
- Share insights and expertise with Rearc engineers, customer teams, and the wider community to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
