The Opportunity
As a Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics - Data Science Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams in delivering data-driven insights and solutions. Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in data analysis and analytics projects to gain exposure to industry practices
- Conducting research and gathering information to assist in the development of data-driven insights
- Participating in algorithm development and machine learning initiatives to enhance predictive analytics capabilities
- Utilizing tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau for data visualization and complex data analysis
- Assisting in data validation and data security processes to maintain data integrity
- Engaging in customer analysis and business data analytics to inform strategic decision-making
- Applying Python programming skills to develop and refine data models and statistical analysis
- Collaborating with team members to create dashboards and reports that communicate key performance indicators and trends
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application. Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for one of the following field(s) of study: Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics
- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA
- Demonstrating proficiency in Python for data analysis
- Utilizing machine learning techniques for predictive analytics
- Applying data visualization skills with Tableau and Power BI
- Conducting complex data analysis to derive actionable insights
- Developing algorithms to enhance data processing efficiency
- Engaging in analytic research to support data-driven decisions

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
