What You'll do:
Groundswell is seeking an experienced cloud engineer with experience utilizing cloud capabilities to implement secure systems within a complex customer ecosystem. In this role, you will use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet challenging federal missions.

Collaborate closely with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to design, develop, test, and deploy cloud solution components.

Work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps through products like Kubernetes.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather goals and objectives, identify gaps, and develop differentiated solutions that solve mission needs.

Conceptualize, architect, develop, and communicate solutions that will drive customer success and achieve program objectives.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related technical discipline with a minimum of 4-years of relevant experience or a Master's with 2 years.

Demonstrated experience designing and deploying scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant systems in AWS, using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, or CloudWatch.

Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Knowledge of networking concepts and AWS networking services, including VPC, subnets, security groups, and routing.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with multi-functional teams.

Generate clear and maintainable documentation for each updated area of the application as a reference for future development efforts.

Must be a US Citizen with active TS/SCI Clearance and eligibility for CI Poly

May require occasional travel (up to 5%)
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with programming in Python for automation and scripting tasks.

Experience in working with data manipulation libraries and data serialization formats, including JSON and XML.

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$106,769.00 - $211,531.00
