Cloud Engineer (Hybrid | DoD Top Secret)

Title: Cloud Engineer 
Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid - be able to come into the office a couple of days a month)
Clearance: Top Secret (SCI eligible)

About this role:

• Rackner is seeking a Cloud Engineer that will work on AWS GovCloud to build a platform with enhanced security, cost controls, and self-service capabilities for USCYBERCOM
• The Cloud Engineer will leverage IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CaC (Ansible) to provision resources in these AWS Accounts
• The Cloud Engineer will provision and support Kubernetes clusters built with EKS

We are seeking professionals with:

• 4+ years production experience with AWS
• 2+ years production experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• 2+ years experience with Ansible
• 1+ years experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Open Container Initiative, Cloud Native Computing Foundation projects
• Exposure to programming languages, such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, or Go
• Continuous Delivery and Deployment Automation
• Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent field
• Unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
• Microservice Architectures
• Cloud Computing

Nice to Have:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering field 
• NIST Risk Management Framework
• DoD 8570/8140 IASAE Level II certification
• Ability to achieve a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification
• General Knowledge of how to use the following technologies to further develop containerized applications and delivery to a containerized platform: DoD DevSecOps Reference Architecture | RKE2 | Git/GitLab/GitOps | Kustomize | ArgoCD | Flux | Ansible | Helm | Terraform | Big Bang | Version Control | SOPS
