Cloud Engineer with Linux Administration

Job Description
BAE is looking for a Cloud engineer with Linux administration experience to join our team. This person will work primarily with Terraform and Ansible providing technical support for our customer's multi cloud environment used by dozens of enterprise applications. Candidate must have experience creating and maintaining highly scalable and fault tolerant multi-tier AWS and Azure environments spanning across multiple availability zones using Terraform. Candidate must have experience with Gitlab CICD processes. The Candidate must possess an active Top Security Clearance.
Successful candidates will be a highly skilled individual who can efficiently code for building and versioning infrastructure against our customer's multi-cloud environment.
Teamwork is a key element of the position, not just with the infrastructure team, but also with the database, operating system, application teams, the developers and system owners when resolving issues as well as when planning and executing system enhancements. This person needs to have good observational and analytical skills to help identify and resolve issues with the systems and deployments before and after they occur. Position will at-times require after-hours and weekend work to support Critical application upgrades/deployments and troubleshooting.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT or Engineering field, or equivalent experience. Typically a BS Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Internet Service Providers, Cloud Vendor Software as a Service (SaaS), Physical and Cloud, routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
• Highly skilled individual who can efficiently envision and build infrastructure against our customer's multi-cloud environment.
• Experience with deployment plans to deploy new or upgraded infrastructure to Test and Production environments.
• Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills
• Ability to create reusable Terraform modules in both Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of fundamental concepts and skills using GitLab within a development environment.
• Experience with Terraform Templates to automate the Azure IaaS virtual machines using terraform modules and deployed virtual machine scale sets in production environment.
• Worked in conjunction with multiple teams to make sure that the infrastructure and customer applications work harmoniously together.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• "Can-do" attitude, proactive and resourceful.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
