Job Description
PURPOSE
The Engineer independently checks, executes, solves (where appropriate), and creates tickets (problem tickets, change management tickets, incident reports, delivery orders (DO)) to maintain service for customers according to the given quality KPIs and internal processes (INM, CHM, PRM, DOM). The Engineer is familiar with DevOps and Agile methods and performs both operational and basic development tasks in a Cloud environment.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Administer cloud-based technologies.
- Install and deploy new features for OS, as well as Data & Analytics and AI (Big Data) applications and/or environments.
- Work based on the DevOps model, with less focus on process and more on content.
- Develop solutions according to the Agile methodology (SCRUM).
- Cooperate in the implementation and testing of developed solutions.
- Create technical documentation.
- Apply a creative approach within complex solutions and technologies.
- Actively participate in research & development projects.
- Investigate and analyze the root cause of incidents, initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Adhere to internal work instructions and process guidelines within DTAG.
- Follow defined escalation standards in case of deviations.
- Engage in regular and/or irregular communication with colleagues in an international environment to ensure operational goals are met.
- Participate in on-call duties, independently solving and troubleshooting incidents and errors within defined areas of expertise.
- Coordinate the use of internal technical support and vendor support to ensure effective troubleshooting, maintenance, and efficient end-user support.
- Train and educate other employees.
- Perform non-technical team-specific tasks, such as quality assurance, process reporting, and supporting daily operations.
- Create, change, and delete user accounts.
- Prepare technical documentation.
Qualifications
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
- Have a secondary education in Information Technologies.
- Have at least 3 years of experience managing Linux systems with Big Data applications.
- Hold verified certifications in the relevant platforms (Linux, and Cloudera or Hadoop-based applications).
- Have advanced experience in Linux server administration.
- Have intermediate experience in Cloud networking.
- Have intermediate experience in backup and storage.
- Have a basic understanding of DevOps methodologies.
- Are familiar with Agile methodology.
- Speak English at an upper-intermediate level (B2).

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1300 € /brutto.
