Summary
Our client is looking for a Cloud Engineer with genuine, hands-on Azure infrastructure experience to join a growing cloud platform team. This is a mature Azure environment with dedicated workstreams building out a technically robust cloud platform — the role offers real opportunity to shape cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code standards early in that journey. The team balances speed and excellence, and their best engineers set the pace rather than get set by it.
Responsibilities
- Own Azure infrastructure across Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, Azure Policy, and IAM.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, with ARM Templates, CLI, and PowerShell as needed.
- Drive DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes that deliver infrastructure changes reliably.
- Bring cloud automation and standardization best practices into an evolving platform.
- Balance speed and excellence in a team that prioritizes both.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years of experience across Azure infrastructure: Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, Azure Policy, and IAM.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code — Bicep preferred, ARM Templates (JSON), CLI, or PowerShell also considered.
