Job Title Engineer L2 Location (s) Kochi/Trivandrum Years of Experience 3-5 years Job Description • Job Purpose: As a Senior DevOps Engineer , you will own the automation, provisioning, and reliability of business-critical client applications hosted on AWS. You will seamlessly integrate infrastructure updates into corporate release management lines and support hybrid-cloud dependencies interacting with Azure.
Technical Skill Requirements
• Primary Cloud Platform (AWS): Deep hands-on experience with AWS Infrastructure and Platform services, including EKS
• Secondary Cloud Platform (AWS): Practical understanding of core Azure services
• CI/CD & Automation (Azure DevOps): Advanced expertise in building and optimizing enterprise-grade Azure Pipelines using multi-stage YAML. Competency in setting up self-hosted agents, managing variable groups, environment approvals, and security controls.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid experience writing clean, modular Terraform scripts to provision Azure resources. Ability to manage remote state files safely and integrate IaC directly into Azure DevOps release flows.
• Containers & Orchestration: Daily handling of Docker containerization and EKS cluster administration (ingress configurations, namespaces, pod scaling, and troubleshooting deployments).
• Observability: Setting up monitoring, custom dashboards, and proactive alerting metrics using , Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Orchestrate infrastructure lifecycle events on AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, IAM) natively using Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts).
• Establish secure cross-cloud authentication logic linking Azure DevOps service connections safely to AWS target environments using OpenID Connect (OIDC) or secure IAM roles.
• Develop and run Terraform plans via automated release pipelines to maintain client development, testing, and production environments.
• Oversee container image build processes, tagging conventions, and secure pushes to AWS Elastic Container Registry (ECR) or Azure Container Registry (ACR).
• Set up comprehensive logging, metrics gathering, and tracing telemetry utilizing AWS CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, or Datadog.
• Customer-Facing Expectations: Participate in technical risk assessment reviews, assist client application developers with deployment issues, and ensure strict alignment with the account’s operational procedures.
