The team provides a high-performance, reliable analytics and data integration platform leveraging the latest cloud (Snowflake) and advanced analytics tools (Immuta, DataIKU).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Cloud/Hadoop-based data solutions
- Lead end-to-end project delivery:
- Requirements gathering
- Functional specifications and system design
- Implementation
- Post-implementation support
- Analyze existing designs and interfaces, applying improvements and enhancements
- Support ad-hoc user issues and provide resolutions
- Test components and complete systems, including debugging and preparing deployment documentation
- Provide regular status updates and maintain reporting transparency
Requirements
- 5–7 years of professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Computer Science or related field)
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Hadoop and cloud data technologies
- RDBMS concepts and SQL
- Data analytics tools (preferably DataIKU)
- Proficient in UNIX Shell scripting or Python
- Process-driven, with strong focus on standardization and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience optimizing large-scale data loads
- Proven ability to work in distributed, multi-site teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Perform root cause analysis
- Design and implement technical solutions
- Gather business requirements and interface with stakeholders
- Quantitatively track and report team performance
