Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage data pipelines using Apache Airflow
- Write clean, efficient code in Python to support scalable ETL/ELT processes
- Own and evolve internal data infrastructure and integration pipelines
- Monitor and ensure data quality, reliability, and performance
- Collaborate with global teammates in English across product and engineering
- Operate independently while contributing to technical direction and architecture
- Work during EST hours to align with the core team
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar technical roles
- Advanced-level experience in Python programming
- Proven hands-on knowledge of Apache Airflow
- Background working in small teams or startups
- Comfortable working autonomously and owning complete solutions
- Conversational English for team collaboration
- Availability to work within the EST time zone
- Located in Brazil or open to working in a similar time zone
Nice to Have:
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud environments
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools
- Understanding of data quality and observability best practices
