Job Description
Sr Infrastructure engineer type who has worked projects implementing PAAS. Application Platform as a Service (aPaaS), or simply Platform as a Service (PaaS), is a cloud computing service model, along with Software as a Service (SaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). It provides end users with the hardware, operating systems, storage or network capacity they need over the cloud to be able to run existing applications or develop new ones. The job is to support a data center in CT.
Process and IT Automation Expert VMware, vCloud, Xen, KVM, OpenStack, Orchestrator, vCAC, Cloud, application analysis, infrastructure, Amazon EC2, AWS, Azure, SCCM, SDN, IaaS, PaaS
- Design target cloud infrastructure platform including: compute, storage, network, and management/orchestration software.
- Develop monitoring metrics for cloud environment
- Identify and evaluate tools for management of cloud environment
- Develop process for determining "cloud readiness" of applications
Manage customer interface and coordinate with project management.
- Must have effective Communication at both the executive level and SA level
- The ability to pull cogent materials together (powerpoint format)
- Must be willing to be on site in Valley Forge
