Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Cloud Architect to be an integral part of a collaborative team supporting USSOCOM Special Operations Forces Mission Program by providing cloud migration solutions, including application assessment, security requirement identification (IaaS vs. PaaS, bring-your-own-ATO, control inheritance), and architecture recommendations, resulting in seamless migrations. Cloud Architects will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to complete successful cloud-to-cloud migrations and are currently consulting on hardware-to-cloud migrations. The successful candidate will be comfortable in and have previous experience in Agile development, DevSecOps, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), data engineering, and cybersecurity environments. The candidate will be located in Tampa, FL and expected to be on-site at a customer location in a hybrid capacity. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing architectural solutions in a Cloud Computing environment Focus on providing DevSecOps software engineering expertise, Kubernetes infrastructure, and multi-region platform services that help modernize Legacy software systems and supporting external DoD software initiatives.
- Providing DevSecOps software engineering expertise, focusing on security automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes infrastructure for containerized applications.
- Architecting and implementing multi-region platform services to ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience.
- Managing and securing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Mentoring junior developers and engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering their professional growth.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to various stakeholders, including developers, engineers, and management.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience developing production software leveraging modern languages (including: Java, Python, Go, NodeJS, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience with agile and lean software development philosophies
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience with modern version control systems such as Git, Subversion, Mercurial, etc
- 1+ years of experience developing containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Mesos, Swarm, etc 1+ years of experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch etc.
- CompTIA Security+ CE or other DoD 8570 IAT II certification
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance
This position is located in Tampa, FL. The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $210,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
