Are you passionate about designing and building scalable cloud infrastructures and enhancing existing cloud environments? We’re looking for a Cloud Architect with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to design and implement cloud solutions using advanced configuration management and automation tools. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in cloud technologies and cloud security to develop resilient and scalable platforms that support business intelligence, data analytics, and enterprise cloud solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Review current systems architecture configurations and identify optimizations.
- Be the primary point of contact for requirements, services, and issues relating to Cloud Service Provider (CSP) inquiries, to include negotiating billing discrepancies.
- Participate in working groups to represent the Sponsor’s equities with regards to different CSPs.
- Ensure teams are leveraging enterprise services and assist with migration plans if necessary.
- Track the quarterly accessibility scoring to ensure dates are met and teams are working towards 5.0 ratings.
- Map new and existing work to the Sponsor’s Software Defined Intelligence architecture pattern to include providing briefing slides, maintaining data points and facilitating the development of an interactive dashboard.
You might thrive in this role if you:
- Possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
- Have experience architecting cloud systems in AWS to include performing periodic reviews for cost optimization.
- Have experience with ServiceNow’s ITSM module.
- Demonstrated experience with the A&A process to include continuous monitoring.
- Have experience tracking and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
- Have experience architecting enterprise systems that hold or process sensitive data.
- Demonstrated experience performing in depth evaluations or new requirements in order to promote a commercial first approach to system design.
- Demonstrated experience with DevOps related tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
- Demonstrated experience with the Nitro CI/CD Pipeline.
- Have experience architecting solutions with Azure, Google, IBM and Oracle CSPs.
- Have experience with hybrid cloud solutions and multi-cloud solutions.
- Demonstrated experience participating in programs to evaluate new technologies and determine their mission value and security posture.
- Have experience with Git for source control
- Demonstrated ability to determine the right tool or technology for the task at hand
- Works well in a team environment
- Strong communication skills

- Adept at reviewing current systems architecture configurations and identifying optimizations.
