KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Cloud Architecture Development
- Design and maintain an overarching cloud architecture strategy that aligns with company's business goals
- Lead the integration of cloud architecture with integration, security and data architectures to enhance organizational capabilities
- Expert knowledge of cloud services and architecture patterns, cloud integration, and secure cloud design
Governance and Cloud Standards Compliance
- Develop and enforce cloud governance standards and practices
- Oversee the management of cloud resources, including the establishment of a cloud services catalog and detailed policies
Technology Leadership and Guidance
- Provide expert guidance on the latest cloud technologies and architectural approaches, including hybrid clouds, native cloud services, interoperability of cloud solutions
- Lead the adoption of emerging cloud technologies and methodologies that can provide a competitive advantage
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Collaborate with business leaders and IT teams to identify and implement cloud solutions that support business initiatives
- Clearly communicate cloud architectural plans and benefits to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and understanding.
Research and Innovation
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in cloud architecture
- Lead the exploration and implementation of innovative cloud solutions to drive business growth and efficiency.
MANDATORY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise level technology architecture.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise level cloud architecture.
- Proficiency in AWS and Azure.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale cloud architecture projects with clear personal contribution.
Job Certification:
- Required: AWS or Azure Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF.
- Desirable: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
