Cloud Architect (Customer Success Manager) with German - T-Cloud public (m/f/d)

Department 

We run T-Cloud public ! T-Cloud public is a public cloud standard product based on open source community software and driven by principles of DevSecOps. Lean structures, agile methods, highly motivated teams and an extremely dynamic business environment determine our actions. With this customer-oriented and agile orientation, we are the anchor point for the Public Cloud business in Deutsche Telekom Group. 

We are measured by delivering a secure, stable and innovative platform. We work jointly with our platform partner and other partners out of the OpenStack ecosystem to create a highly innovative public cloud product based on European security and data protection standards. We are looking for people who are professionals and evangelists with a great deal of enthusiasm for cloud technology and who are up to the challenges created by the development and operation of a hyper-scale public cloud.  We offer a unique insight into how a large public cloud works under the hood, intercultural teamwork, flat hierarchies, and an independent working-style. 

Purpose

As a senior technical expert responsible for the design, implementation, and governance of cloud technologies, you will serve as a Cloud Architect while also acting as the Senior Customer Success Manager for T-Cloud public, you will assume technical responsibility and management of all tasks and activities that are responsible for the provision of services by T-Cloud public to the customer and the contract result internally. 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Strategic influence and development of the existing business of the assigned T-Cloud public customers in order to increase the value added for the customer and the sales for the T-Cloud public 

• Comprehensive advice to customers regarding the first-time use of the T-Cloud public or the ongoing optimization of cloud usage (consumption push, upselling) 

• Active participation in the respective vertical squad of the T-Cloud public

• Avoiding "churn" through proactive analysis and management of T-Cloud public customers 

• Supporting the ongoing optimization and further development of the customer success management of the T-Cloud public

• Supporting the customer-oriented "service excellence culture" in all areas of the customer success management of the T-Cloud public 

• Ensuring customer satisfaction 

• Participation in the planning and forecasting processes 

• Transferring customer requirements to the T-Cloud public impediment and demand process 

• Supporting the further development of cloud handling support

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Completed degree in computer science, engineering or comparable training or further education 

• Have top knowledge and experience in the areas of cloud and IT architecture, technology strategy, sales and business development 

• Have top knowledge and experience in the field of AI 

• Have strong communication and presentation skills with correct and confident behavior in customer contacts to ensure our service promise 

• Have strong knowledge of market-relevant cloud ecosystems and experience with partners 

• Have strong knowledge in the field of cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) 

• Have knowledge of the offerings of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google, Rackspace 

• Have experience with development of cloud platforms/hybrid cloud solutions in which technologies, developer tools, APIs, management and integration frameworks and processes are combined 

• Have high resilience, adaptability to dynamically changing processes/startup mentality 

• Have very good technical understanding of standardized service provision through platforms  

• Are experienced in international cooperation

• Have high social skills, ability to work in a team and integrate, coupled with good assertiveness and the ability to work independently 

• Have fluent written and spoken German and English (C1)

• Are willing to travel nationally and internationally 

Certifications required for the position: 

• OTC Practitioner certification or comparable AMIGO Hyperscaler certification 

• Agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, DevOps or comparable certifications 

Certifications recommended for the position: 

• DevOps Foundation 

• OTC Architect

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2200 € /brutto.
