The Cloud Administrator will be part of the CCoE Compute Windows Team in Pune. As a Cloud Administrator, you will administer and support Windows Server and AWS cloud environments, and participate in planning, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, security hardening, modernization and operational support activities.
What You'll Do
- Administer and support AWS cloud and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Perform routine system health checks, infrastructure monitoring and operational maintenance.
- Deploy operating system patches and security updates while ensuring compliance requirements are met.
- Perform server maintenance, vulnerability remediation and security hardening activities.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide timely resolution for incidents and service requests.
- Perform root cause analysis for escalated server, operating system and cloud infrastructure issues.
- Automate recurring operational and reporting tasks using PowerShell.
- Participate in infrastructure modernization, cloud migration and server upgrade initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and system inventories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and secure infrastructure services.
What You'll Bring
- BE/B. Tech or higher in CS, IT or EE.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud operations and Windows system administration.
- Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025.
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Systems Manager and Route 53.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, administration, security best practices and access management.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and File Services.
- Ability to perform server configuration, user administration, troubleshooting, performance monitoring and system hardening.
- Good understanding of operating system patch management, monthly security update deployment, backup, recovery and system availability concepts.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting for server administration, automation, reporting and troubleshooting.
- Experience using monitoring and logging tools to investigate system performance and infrastructure issues.
- Understanding of enterprise data center technologies, including Networking, Security, TCP/IP and Firewalls.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Windows Server or Azure-related certifications will be an added advantage.
