As a leading member of our administrative team you will participate in and support administrative initiatives related to programming, training, establishment of and adherence to best practices, processes and procedures as well as oversight of quality assurance and service delivery.

Job Description

The Becket Family of Services, Vermont Permanency Initiative is seeking a full time Milieu Clinician (MC) to join our team. The role of the MC is to provide individual and group therapy as well as day to day oversight and treatment for approximately 10 adolescent males between the ages of 11-21. The VPI Program, located in Campton New Hampshire, utilizes an outdoor education and wilderness therapy approach seeking to replace maladaptive behavioral patterns with lifelong pro-social skills. Many youth within the program have a history of co-occurring mental health disorders. Background in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Attachment Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC) principles and/or willingness to learn is imperative. Common responsibilities include providing counseling to students while providing strengths based interventions and pro-social incentives, communicating treatment plan needs and assisting with general oversight for the duration of the time in treatment.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field in addition to two years experience counseling adolescents and/or families. Ideal applicants will be licensed or be working towards licensure.

Skills Required
