Skills Required
- Active Ohio LISW-S
- Minimum of 5 years of mental health experience
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance
- Ability to travel locally as needed
- Successful completion of background check, driving record check, and drug screening
- Experience working with youth, families, and/or groups with behavioral health needs
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and DSM-5/ICD-10
- Experience with or understanding of Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, Crisis Intervention, Family Systems
- Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
- Strong commitment to client rights and ethical practice
- Prior supervisory experience

Appleseed Community Mental Health Center is a multi-service, nonprofit agency based in Ashland, Ohio, dedicated to providing comprehensive behavioral health services. Their mission is to help individuals and families live healthy, productive lives by offering research-based, affordable, and outcome-driven care. Services include mental health counseling, psychiatric treatment, crisis intervention, substance-use disorder programs, housing support, and specialized services for youth, families, and victims of domestic violence or sexual assault.
