About the Role
We are a nimble B2B software firm providing mission-critical, on-premises solutions for Radiology departments. We are looking for a Computer Science graduate who wants to make an impact in healthcare. You will be the bridge between our technology and the clinicians who use it - helping to ensure clinical workflows are efficient, accurate, and cost-effective.
You will start by mastering the "bread and butter" of our business—automated deployments and custom clinical webforms—while being given protected time to develop tools that will shape the future of our product.
What You’ll Do
Your work will be roughly split across three areas over time:
Deployment & Automation (40%): Use PowerShell and SQL scripting to automate the installation and configuration of our software on Windows Server environments. Gain exposure to healthcare data standards like HL7 and DICOM using tools like Mirth Connect to ensure data flows correctly between systems.
Clinical Customization (40%): Work directly with Radiologists and Sonographers to understand their workflow. You will use vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build and customize web forms that capture critical clinical data.
AI & Future Features (20%): You’ll get protected time to develop coding skills and experiment with AI/LLMs for internal tooling (e.g., testing, deployment validation), with mentorship and clear problem statements.
General
Since we serve healthcare, there is a rotating overnight support schedule with senior backup; it is rarely called upon.
No routine travel required.
Technical Requirements
Education: B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Scripting: Proficiency in SQL (writing/optimizing queries) and a strong interest in PowerShell for Windows automation.
Web Basics: Solid grasp of "Vanilla" JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. We value clean, functional code over heavy framework overhead.
Environment: Comfortable working within a Windows Server ecosystem.
Soft Skills & "The Right Fit"
Remote Autonomy: As a 100% remote team, we expect you to be a self-starter who communicates clearly and frequently. We balance clear project ownership with regular check-ins, code reviews, and direct access to senior engineers.
Clinical Empathy: You can talk to a medical professional, listen to their "pain points," and translate that into a technical solution.
The "Scrappy" Mindset: You enjoy the challenge of on-premise software and find satisfaction in automating manual tasks.
No Healthcare Experience? No Problem: We will provide full training on HIPAA compliance and SOC2 security standards.
Why Join Us?
Direct Impact: Your code goes live in hospitals, not a staging server where it's never seen.
Modern Growth: We are committed to entering the AI/LLM space and want you to lead the charge in workflow and clinically adjacent tooling.
Mentorship: Work directly with the leadership of a small, stable B2B company. We have clear onboarding, pairing/review process with more senior devs, and no solo-on-day-one deployments.
Benefits & Compensation

What We Do
Imorgon builds clinical software for medical imaging teams who need accuracy, consistency, and efficiency. We focus on ultrasound, DEXA, and increasingly other imaging workflows, transforming measurement data and clinical observations into preliminary reports.
Our platforms streamline the imaging-to-reporting pipeline, reducing manual entry, variability, and cognitive load for clinicians. We work closely with radiologists, sonographers, and administrators to ensure we significantly improve productivity and quality.
Used by private practices and health systems alike, Imorgon’s technology is trusted to support high-stakes diagnostic decisions where precision, auditability, and reliability matter.
Why Work With Us
We’re a small team building software that must be correct and reliable, as it impacts clinical workflows. You’ll collaborate with domain experts and own systems used in clinical settings. This role will not suit those who prefer rapid feature churn, greenfield projects, rigid hierarchies, frequent role changes, or narrow responsibilities.
