Pay & Schedule
- Competitive starting wages based on experience and qualifications
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Welcome patients and visitors with exceptional customer service
- Check patients in and out for appointments
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
- Collect and update patient demographics, insurance, and registration information
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary documentation
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Support providers and clinical staff with administrative tasks
- Perform other clerical duties to support efficient clinic operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of medical reception, front office, or customer service experience
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in a healthcare or medical specialty setting
- One (1) year of Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience
- Experience preparing patient charts for medical visits
- Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
- Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic medical records
- Completion of a certified Medical Office, Medical Assistant, or CNA training program
- Bilingual (Spanish)
