Autism Center of Excellence is hiring a Clinical Director / BCBA for our Colonial Heights, VA clinic.

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative clinical leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality ABA services while supporting the growth and development of both clients and clinical staff.

This is an excellent opportunity for a BCBA seeking a leadership role with strong operational support, manageable clinical expectations, and the ability to help shape clinic culture and clinical excellence within a growing organization.

At Autism COE, our Clinical Directors are supported by experienced operational teams, administrative staff, and executive leadership so they can focus on mentorship, clinical quality, and team development instead of operational chaos.

Current Role Structure:

• Supports multiple BCBAs within clinic
• Reduced billable expectations compared to traditional BCBA roles
• Leadership-focused clinical structure

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for assigned clinic
• Supervise, mentor, and develop BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical staff
• Ensure high-quality ABA programming and clinical integrity across services
• Conduct behavioral assessments and oversee treatment planning
• Monitor client progress and provide clinical guidance as needed
• Support hiring, onboarding, and development of clinical team members
• Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation
• Collaborate with operational leadership to support clinic success and growth
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and clinically excellent clinic culture

Schedule:

This is a full-time, in-person position requiring reasonable flexibility in work hours to meet client, clinical, and operational needs. Schedules are generally aligned with clinic operations Monday through Friday; however, occasional schedule adjustments or Saturdays may be required based on operational or client needs.



Requirements

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field required

• Must be eligible to practice in Virginia

• Prior BCBA leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills required

• Passion for improving outcomes for children with autism and their families
