Join our dynamic team as a Network Customer Technology Advisor and become an integral part of our cutting-edge Go-To-Market team. As a certified expert in your field, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing technology solutions for our valued customers. Working hand in hand with our Kyndryl Consult Partners and customer partners, you will leverage your technical and solution expertise to drive targeted opportunities and exceed customer expectations.
 

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Network Advisor.   In this role, you will collaborate with customers to develop comprehensive Network Strategies and technology roadmaps that align with their business objectives and technological requirements. Your responsibilities will also include advising on best practices for architecture, design, and deployment.

You will posses a deep understanding designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.

You will establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, serving as a trusted advisor and providing strategic insights and recommendations that drive customer success.

In this role, you will assist the sales team in pre-sales activities, including defining the scope of work, preparing proposals, and conducting solution demonstrations. You will engage with potential customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions that meet their requirements. Leading and delivering consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction, and providing post-implementation support are also key aspects of this position.

As a Customer Technology Advisor, you will possess strong technical and business acumen, allowing you to provide value driven solutions within the practice services domain(s). Your exceptional customer facing skills, combined with your articulate communication style and interpersonal finesse, will enable you to effortlessly convey the technical benefits of Kyndryl's capabilities, perfectly matching the unique needs of each customer.

Who You Are

Job Qualifications

    Experience: 

    • 5+ of experience in network design and implementation.

    • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).

    • Proficiency in network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).

    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

    Education: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is considered an asset.

    Certifications: 

    • CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Wireless Network Professional (CWNP) or equivalent certifications are preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications: 

    • Network Design and Architecture: Understanding how to design and plan network infrastructure, including topology, hardware, and software requirements.

    • Routing and Switching: Knowledge of how data is directed through networks using routers and switches, including protocols like OSPF, BGP, and VLANs.

    • Network Security: Implementing and managing security measures to protect the network from threats, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and encryption.

    • Wireless Networking: Setting up and managing wireless networks, including knowledge of Wi-Fi standards, access points, and wireless security.

    • Network Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving network issues using tools like ping, traceroute, and network analyzers.

    • IP Addressing and Subnetting: Understanding IP addressing schemes, subnetting, and network address translation (NAT).

    • Network Monitoring and Management: Using tools to monitor network performance, manage network devices, and ensure network reliability.

    • Cloud Networking: Knowledge of networking in cloud environments, including services from providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

    • Virtualization: Understanding network virtualization technologies, such as virtual LANs (VLANs) and virtual private networks (VPNs).

    • Automation and Scripting: Using automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python) to automate network tasks and improve efficiency.
