You will be responsible for the full range of administrative and operational activities linked to client accounts, ensuring that all instructions are executed accurately, efficiently and in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Working closely with CROs and key control functions, you will help prepare client meetings, maintain up‑to‑date documentation, and contribute to the promotion of digital and paperless solutions.
This position is suited to an experienced private banking professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, is comfortable with complex client requests and financial instruments, and is committed to delivering excellent service with a strong risk‑aware and compliance mindset. The role requires close interaction with Russian‑speaking clients and therefore a high level of proficiency in Russian.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide proactive day‑to‑day support to one or more CROs in managing a portfolio of private banking clients, ensuring seamless coordination of all client‑related activities.
· Deliver top‑quality client service through regular and timely contact by phone and e‑mail, handling queries, resolving issues and ensuring a consistently high level of client satisfaction, including for Russian‑speaking clients.
· Execute and oversee client account openings, closures and updates, including performing internet searches, gathering and validating corroborative documentation, and ensuring full adherence to internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
· Process, monitor and control all client instructions (e.g. stock market transactions, payments, foreign currency trades and other investment orders), ensuring accurate execution, proper booking and alignment with guidelines from Compliance, Risk and Operations.
· Prepare, organise and follow up on client meetings and visits by compiling account documentation, checking required documents, producing account statements and ensuring that all actions and outcomes are properly recorded.
· Manage ongoing administrative and organisational tasks such as periodic client reviews, tracking and resolving missing or pending documents, and coordinating the delivery and follow‑up of holdmail and other client communications.
· Prepare high‑quality marketing and client materials, including presentations, pitchbooks, investment proposals and portfolio reviews, in close collaboration with CROs and Investment Solutions teams.
· Actively promote paperless accounts and e‑banking usage, guiding clients through digital solutions and supporting the bank’s drive towards more efficient and sustainable processes.
· Ensure strict compliance with the Code of Conduct and all internal regulations and policies (including Cross‑Border rules, AML requirements, Clear & Clean Desk Policy and Absence Management), escalating issues to Compliance or Risk where appropriate.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
· Minimum: University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field; or a completed banking commercial apprenticeship.
· Preferred: Additional professional training in private banking, wealth management or compliance‑related topics.
Professional Experience
· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Client Support Officer (or equivalent role) in a private banking environment.
· Proven track record in managing client documentation, executing investment and payment instructions, and supporting CROs in the servicing of sophisticated private banking clients.
Technical and Functional Knowledge
· Solid understanding of financial instruments, including money market products, fixed income, equities, options and derivatives, structured products, foreign exchange and investment funds.
· Good knowledge of Risk, Cross‑Border and Compliance/AML topics, with the ability to apply relevant rules and guidelines in day‑to‑day activities.
· Strong proficiency in standard office tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for preparing client materials, reports and presentations.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to cope with pressure and manage a demanding workload while handling multiple tasks in parallel.
· Flexible, organised and able to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
