About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile professional who can excel as both a Client Service Associate and Paraplanner. This hybrid role is designed for someone who enjoys client interaction while also contributing to the technical side of financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding client service as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Prepare financial plans, analyses, and projections using planning software.
  • Assist in implementing financial strategies and tracking progress toward client goals.
  • Manage client account administration, including processing trades and handling documentation.
  • Collaborate with the lead advisor to prepare for and follow up on client meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Fully licensed with Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent) certifications.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning or client service roles.
  • Familiarity with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • CFP or progress toward certification is a plus.

Location: Des Moines, IA

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $95,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
