Job Description
The Position
Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join our team in Switzerland.
This is a fantastic opportunity to foster strong client relationships while expanding your product expertise. The successful candidate will partake in business development within the wealth management segment, aiming to maintain regular touchpoints with private bankers, multi-family officers and independent wealth advisors. In addition to our private strategies, the new hire will also be responsible for growing our daily liquidity product franchise across Brookfield and Oaktree.
Success in this role will depend on the candidate’s ability to develop existing client relationships and initiate new ones. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the broader growth and development of Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions.
This position reports directly to the Country Head.
Responsibilities
Capital Raising:
- Support sales efforts aligned with BOWS' goals in Switzerland and internationally.
- Coordinate campaigns for existing private fund offerings.
- Onboard new public market products onto distributor platforms.
- Contribute to the marketing strategy and brand-building initiatives of the firm.
- Assist in organizing events and other promotional activities.
Investor Relations:
- Support senior business development colleagues and provide exceptional client service.
- Maintain close contact with key asset allocators among private banks and multi-family offices.
- Respond to investor needs and proactively provide market insights.
- Collaborate with internal divisions (Product, Legal, Operations, etc.) to address client inquiries.
- Establish credibility as a specialist and relationship manager for the firm’s investment opportunities.
Product Development & Market Intelligence:
- Develop a strong understanding of Brookfield and Oaktree products.
- Become an ambassador for our daily liquidity product suite.
- Contribute to the marketing strategy and positioning of specific funds and the firm as a whole.
- Provide market intelligence and assist in strategic planning for new product development.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in distribution, with a proven track record of building significant relationships across the wealth management sector in Switzerland.
- Knowledge of adjacent European markets including France, Italy, Germany and the Benelux is an advantage, though not required.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently to achieve business growth objectives.
- A high-energy individual with the capacity to integrate into a performance-driven, lean team.
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Fluency in Swiss German, French, and Italian is an advantage, though not required.
- Additional professional credentials (e.g., CIMA, CAIA, CFA, MBA) are preferred but not mandatory.
Travel
- Significant travel will be required.
