Company Description

Farther is a rapidly growing RIA that combines expert advisors with cutting-edge technology - delivering a comprehensive, tailored wealth management experience.

Farther’s founders are leaders and innovators from the private wealth industry who possess a unique blend of traditional wealth management, fintech, and technology production expertise. We’re backed by top-tier venture capital firms, fintech investors, and industry leaders.

Joining Farther means joining a collaborative team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping their clients and our teammates achieve more. If you’re the type who breaks through walls to get things done the right way, we want to build the future of wealth management with you.

The Role

Farther's Client Operations team is the engine behind every account opening, transfer, and money movement across our multi-custodial platform. As our volume scales, we're adding a Client Operations Associate to help our Core Ops function keep pace. You'll own the daily request queue and step in on high-impact projects like custodial mergers and historical performance migrations. If you like being the person who actually gets things done — not just the one who routes the ticket to someone else — this is your seat.

Your Impact
  • Own and triage the daily Core Ops request queue — access provisioning, rep code updates, and more — keeping turnaround fast for our advisors
  • Provide hands-on support for high-impact projects like Historical Performance Migrations and Custodial Mergers
  • Build real fluency across our custodial platforms (think Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, and beyond)
  • Partner closely with our technical specialists and CX team to spot process gaps and fix them
  • Help build the redundancy and structure that lets Core Ops scale alongside the business
The Ideal Match
  • 2+ years in operations at a custodian, RIA, or wealth management firm, with real end-to-end ownership of tasks like account opening and money movement — not just routing requests along
  • Experience working across multiple custodians or departments
  • Sharp attention to detail and comfort managing a high, growing volume of requests
  • A fast learner who can pick up new systems and workflows quickly
Bonus Points
  • Experience at an independent RIA
  • Exposure to custodial mergers, data migrations, or similar technical projects
  • A service background that shows you sweat the details for the people you're helping
Why Join Us
  • Competitive comp package that rewards impact
  • Work alongside some of the brightest minds in fintech
  • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-scaling startup
  • Chart your own growth path as we expand
  • Full health benefits + 401(k) matching & Roth IRA options
  • Unlimited PTO
