As a Client Operations Associate I in AM Global Fee Middle Office Operations, you will enhance the client onboarding experience and provide support across multiple products, client types, and platforms. You’ll address client inquiries, build client fee calculation structures, and troubleshoot issues, while identifying opportunities to refer additional services. Your expertise in client operations, strategic planning, control oversight, and process automation will help optimize the team's performance and enhance our client's experience. Managing and influencing internal stakeholders and Technology partners, you will drive improvements and resolve challenges within established policies and systems. Your curiosity, analytical skills, and passion for driving solutions will lead to significant and meaningful impact toward our team's success.
Job responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end client onboarding and provide ongoing operational support to ensure a seamless experience and high client satisfaction across products and platforms.
- Address client inquiries, troubleshoot issues, process fee structures accurately, and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery.
- Review and understand client fee agreements while interpretating fee terms and conditions in order to accurately build client fee structures
- Collaborate with Client Service Managers, Product Specialists, and Legal Contract Specialists to resolve operational or client challenges, drive process improvements, support project management, and align AM operations with industry best practice.
- Leverage automation technologies and data-driven insights to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement within the service center.
- Monitor Onboarding dashboards to identify and resolve rule breaks and execute calculation records within the team's expected timelines.
- Implement process and controls to detect and prevent inaccurate fee structures while protecting the organization’s financial and reputational interests.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- 2+ years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, or similar work experience
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building productive relationships and driving collaborative solutions.
- Proficiency in leveraging automation technologies and digital tools to improve operational efficiency and client experience.
- Proven ability to apply strategic planning principles to optimize client operations and service center performance.
- Experience implementing process and controls to detect and mitigate risk.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced degree or certification a plus, MBA, CPA, or CFA
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to project management activities.
- Strong data and technology literacy, including the ability to analyze operational data, integrate AI/ML tools, and apply market product knowledge to align AM operations with business initiatives.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate operational insights and recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Experience with fee agreement interpretation.
- Knowledge of the Asset and Wealth Management industry, products and clients.
