About the Opportunity

Clearwater is experiencing exceptional growth across the DACH region, with a rapidly expanding client base. As we deepen our footprint in one of Europe’s most sophisticated investment markets, we are onboarding some of the largest and most complex institutional investors in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland onto our cloud-native SaaS platform.

As part of this growth, we are looking for a DACH Delivery Lead to lead this critical growth mandate.

The Role

This is a senior leadership role within the Global Delivery division which is responsible for onboarding new clients onto Clearwater's SaaS platform. You will own the end-to-end delivery strategy for the DACH region, build and scale a high-performing team of implementation professionals, and serve as the senior-most delivery leader accountable for client outcomes across the region. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and client partnership...shaping how Clearwater delivers for key European clients.

You will lead and develop a team of implementation professionals while maintaining hands-on involvement in project delivery, acting as the primary point of accountability for timelines, client satisfaction, and stakeholder communication. Working closely with Analysts, Team Leads, and Programme Managers across the division, you will bring structure, momentum, and clarity to every engagement you oversee.

What You'll Do

Set the delivery strategy for DACH

  • Define and own the regional delivery roadmap, aligning team capacity, hiring plans, and process design to the DACH growth pipeline

  • Establish delivery standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks that enable consistent, scalable, and repeatable client outcomes

  • Act as the regional voice into Global Delivery leadership, influencing investment priorities and operating model decisions

Build, lead, and develop a world-class team

  • Recruit, retain, and develop a delivery team of implementation professionals including Project Managers, SMEs, and Analysts

  • Create clear career development pathways and a high-performance culture grounded in coaching, accountability, and continuous improvement

  • Own the full performance management cycle: structured 1-on-1s, biannual reviews, and ongoing mentoring

Own client success at the highest level

  • Serve as the most senior delivery escalation point for DACH clients, Clearwater stakeholders, and third-party partners — up to and including C-suite decision makers

  • Personally lead the most complex and high-profile client engagements, bringing credibility, judgement, and commercial awareness to every interaction

  • Scope requirements and configure solutions using Clearwater’s proprietary platform to address the reconciliation, accounting, reporting, and data management needs of large institutional clients during onboarding

Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement

  • Design and implement quantitative and qualitative metrics that provide real visibility into delivery performance, project health, and process effectiveness

  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Programme Management to continuously improve the client onboarding experience — shortening timelines, improving quality, and building processes that scale

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement: identify inefficiencies, drive solutions, and leave a lasting operational mark on the business

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant senior leadership experience in delivery, implementation, or programme management within financial services, fintech, or asset management

  • A proven track record of building and leading delivery teams of 10-15+ people in a matrixed, project-driven environment

  • Deep domain knowledge and extensive experience with institutional clients in the DACH region

  • Demonstrable success delivering large-scale transformational projects for institutional clients - on time, on budget, and to a high standard

  • The ability to operate at both a strategic and execution level: setting direction for a team while remaining a credible, hands-on contributor when it counts

  • Comfort operating in Agile and matrix reporting structures, managing competing priorities across multiple concurrent engagements

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills - from one-to-one coaching through to presenting confidently to C-suite clients

  • A consistent track record of engaging directly with CXO-level stakeholders, with the presence and judgement that commands respect

Professional Skills

  • Proven ability to communicate in German and English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Dynamic problem-solving skills and an intellectual curiosity that drives you to find the best solution for every client challenge.

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to DACH institutional investors (e.g. Solvency II, BaFin, HGB, IFRS) is advantageous

Why Clearwater Analytics?

  • Be part of a high-growth, global fintech that's transforming investment management with the industry’s most comprehensive cloud-native platform for institutional investors across global public and private markets.

  • Join a collaborative, supportive EMEA team with real opportunities for career development.

  • Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a culture that values your contribution.
