The Role
The Global Delivery division is responsible for onboarding new clients onto Clearwater's SaaS platform. As a key leader within this division, you will play a central role in driving successful client implementations — managing your team, owning client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding outcomes for our largest and most complex DACH clients.
You will lead and develop a team of implementation professionals while maintaining hands-on involvement in project delivery, acting as the primary point of accountability for timelines, client satisfaction, and stakeholder communication. Working closely with Analysts, Team Leads, and Programme Managers across the division, you will bring structure, momentum, and clarity to every engagement you oversee.
What You'll Do
Lead and develop your teams
- Directly manage the Implementation team — hiring, retaining, mentoring, and empowering a world-class team
- Own the performance management cycle: monthly 1-on-1s, biannual reviews, and ongoing coaching that helps every team member reach their potential
- Identify and create clear learning and career development pathways, keeping your team engaged, growing, and performing at their best
Own client success at the highest level
- Act as a confident, credible escalation point for clients, Clearwater stakeholders, and third-party partners — up to and including C-suite decision makers
- Personally own and deliver on complex client engagements where it counts — you lead from the front, not just from the sidelines
- Scope requirements and configure solutions using Clearwater’s proprietary platform to meet the diverse reconciliation, accounting, reporting, and data management needs of our largest institutional clients during onboarding
Drive operational excellence
- Design and implement quantitative and qualitative metrics that give real visibility into team performance, project health, and process effectiveness
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to continuously improve the client onboarding experience — shortening delivery timelines and building processes that scale
- Champion continuous improvement: identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and implement changes that leave a lasting mark

- Proven experience managing teams in a project management environment — you know how to bring out the best in people
- The ability — and the drive — to operate at both a management and execution level: leading a high-performing team while remaining a credible, hands-on delivery contributor
- Comfort operating in Agile and matrix reporting structures, managing competing priorities without losing focus
- Exceptional communication skills — from one-to-one coaching sessions to presenting confidently to senior leadership and C-suite clients
- A consistent track record of delivering complex, high-profile projects on time and on budget
- A history of engaging directly with CXO-level clients, with the presence and judgement that demands
Professional Skills
- Proven ability to communicate in German and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Dynamic problem-solving skills and an intellectual curiosity that drives you to find the best solution for every client challenge.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency in Excel
- Prior involvement in middle or back office transformation or change projects is beneficial.
