The Role

Wyse Meter Solutions Inc. provides turnkey submetering and utility expense management services to property managers, building owners and developers across Canada. Wyse is unique in its ability to provide energy consumption transparency and accountability to its customers.

The Client Onboarding Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely onboarding of new properties handed off from the sales team. This position requires someone with strong project management skills, a deep understanding of client service, and the ability to coordinate across multiple internal teams to meet key milestones. The Client Onboarding Manager will also serve as the central point of contact for clients and internal departments during the onboarding process, expectation setting, ensuring clarity, alignment, and satisfaction from project initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding Coordination:
    Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new properties, working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure successful setup and configuration of all required systems and services.
  • Project Management:
    Establish and maintain detailed project timelines for each onboarding, ensuring that key milestones (e.g., installation, setup, configuration, etc.) are assigned realistic dates and met by the responsible teams.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
    Liaise with internal teams (e.g., IT, Operations, Sales) to ensure timely completion of setup tasks. Coordinate internal resources to meet project deadlines, removing any roadblocks to progress.
  • Client Communication:
    Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding process, providing regular updates on project status, addressing inquiries, and ensuring that client expectations are managed and met.
  • Stakeholder Updates:
    Regularly update internal stakeholders, including senior management, on the progress of ongoing projects, including any delays, risks, or key achievements.
  • Data Collection and Documentation:
    Ensure that all necessary data (e.g., client details, installation records, configurations) is collected and accurately documented in company systems. Maintain thorough records of onboarding activities for internal use and future reference.
  • Client Training:
    Deliver client training sessions as needed, ensuring that clients are fully equipped to use the systems and services post-onboarding.
  • Continuous Process Improvement:
    Identify and implement process improvements by analyzing workflows, adopting best practices, and proposing innovative solutions. Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, optimize resources, and adapt processes to evolving
    business needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sustainable operational excellence.
  •  Other duties relevant will be assigned as required.

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in client onboarding, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex processes clearly to clients and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data collection and reporting processes.
  • Experience in delivering client training sessions is preferred.
