Make extraordinary happen
At NCS Australia, we’re the challenger alternative in technology services and consulting. With more than 47 years of Australian heritage, we partner with governments and leading organisations to solve complex challenges, embrace new opportunities and deliver outcomes that make a real difference.
Our people bring together expertise across technology, consulting, delivery, operations, sales and corporate functions. We work collaboratively, challenge the status quo and give our people the opportunity to make an impact — for our clients, our communities and each other.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a driven sales leader to spearhead NCS Australia’s growth in Canberra, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue and profit targets. As part of our Markets team, you'll collaborate with Sales, Capabilities, and Delivery teams to build strong client relationships and promote the NCS brand in the Australian market. You’ll have full autonomy over your patch, allowing you to influence offerings and make a genuine impact.
In this role, you will develop strategies to grow our client base and drive market presence, particularly within the federal government space. You’ll manage key accounts, create value propositions, and craft innovative solutions that align with our clients’ strategic goals and deliver profitable outcomes. A strong understanding of federal government sectors, including intelligence, law enforcement, and trade, will be advantageous.
This is your opportunity to help shape NCS’s growth strategy, craft our transformation, and build relationships that matter. You'll be part of a company that’s big enough to make a difference but small enough to remain agile and responsive. If you’re a results-driven “hunter” with experience in government sectors and a passion for making a difference, we’d love to hear from you!
Qualifications- Extensive business development and sales experience in a systems integrator and/or technology consultancy.
- Proven track record of identifying opportunities and growing new business.
- A strong network of federal government contacts and the ability to drive complex bids, including responding to RFI’s and RFP’s.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport across various levels.
- A consultative approach with the ability to have value-led conversations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, driven by sales success.
- A deep knowledge of system integration technologies, including new and emerging tech.
Strategic mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture and adapt to shifting demands.
