Candidates should be versatile, eager and able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive financial and technical environment. Our interns will have the flexibility of working 2 days remotely, and 3 days in office per week at one of our state-of-the-art offices in Chicago, Kansas City, and New York City. To be eligible for this internship, applicants must be enrolled in a university or college program and should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the internship year. The Data & Analytics team is hiring for a Client Engagement Platform intern.

The Client Intelligence Platform intern at Cboe will assist in the development and maintenance of our Salesforce instance and integrated toolset, including Sigma dashboards for data visualization. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operational administration, configuration, and support of key business systems while learning about Exchange technology and operations.

  • Your responsibilities and learning objectives will be: Assisting with the operational administration, configuration, and support of the Salesforce database
  • Learning and supporting user setup, profiles, roles, groups, security and permissions, workflows and validation rules, and custom objects and fields
  • Monitoring and analyzing site metrics, system performance, and user activity
  • Collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance user experiences and increase efficiencies
  • Developing and creating reports and dashboards in Salesforce to support key business metrics
  • Training users on Salesforce functionality and new features, as well as workflow enhancements
  • Consulting with business stakeholders to gather and confirm business requirements
  • Producing functional, technical, and system design documentation
  • Learn systematic debugging techniques and best practices for resolving system issues
  • Learn basic principles of CRM optimization and apply them to platform enhancement

The ideal candidate has:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Marketing, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field and should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the internship year.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Basic understanding of data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

You’ll really stand out with:

  • Experience with database administration
  • Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools
  • Previous internship or project experience with Salesforce or similar platforms

Our pay range for interns is determined by function and education level. The national new hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $22.00 - $42.00 per hour.  This range represents the minimum and maximum base pay target for new hires working in the position full time.     

  

Within the range, individual pay is determined by years of education completed. In addition to base pay, eligibility for our total rewards program may include benefits such as 401 (k) with a generous company match and paid sick time. Your recruiter will provide more details about the total compensation package during the hiring process
