POSITION OVERVIEW

Grey NY is looking for a Client Finance Analyst to assist in providing financial support to client account teams and monitoring the day-to-day finances and budgets related to client work and projects on a portfolio of brands. You will report to and work closely with the Finance Manager and join a team of passionate professionals dedicated to providing accurate reporting and information to clients and internal teams. Job responsibilities include assisting in the month end close process, preparing and analyzing monthly labor burn reports, ensuring adherence to contract billing policies, providing summaries of monthly billing and reconciliations, and assisting with financial analysis and reporting as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day financial support with account and project management teams to ensure revenue forecasts, staffing plans, and agency pipeline are up-to-date and accurate
  • Prepare and analyze monthly labor reports
  • Reconcile agency fees to SOW and revenue trackers
  • Learn the specifics of client contracts
  • Assist in quarterly client profitability reports
  • Analyze agency employee utilization
  • Assist with the monthly close process
  • Ensure client and account management deadlines are met
  • Prepare for various audits (internal and external)
  • Ad hoc projects as needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Accounting/Finance background a must
  • Advertising agency or creative industry experience a plus
  • 0-3 years relevant experience
  • Advanced Excel skills required. A test may be administered
  • Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $70,000 Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
