Through creation of high-performing teams, this role is also responsible for developing and commercializing opportunities, which includes crafting compelling points of view and driving the proposal and Statement of Work (SOW) creation process. Additionally, the Client Executive takes ownership of delivery management, ensuring successful project setup, staffing, quality oversight, and seamless project closeout. They also contribute to the growth of the team by supporting the professional development of individuals assigned to their accounts, ensuring the alignment of resources and fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement. 

This multifaceted leadership position requires a balance of strategic thinking, relationship acumen, complex problem-solving, and strong operational execution.

Responsibilities
  • Account Strategy
    • Lead the strategic planning process for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with client goals and business objectives and driving future business growth between Cabin and Client.
    • Develop and manage commercial agreements to drive mutually beneficial partnerships.
    • Position Cabin’s value proposition effectively, ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
    • Monitor client satisfaction and take proactive steps to maintain and improve relationships.
  • Relationship Development
    • Own and nurture relationships with key executives, buyers, and stakeholders within client organizations, becoming a trusted advisor.
    • Expand existing relationships by identifying new buyers and fostering cross-functional connections.
    • Map organizational structures and develop relationship maps to understand key decision-makers and influencers within the client organization.
  • Opportunity Development
    • Partner with Capability Leadership to socialize offerings and create client proposals 
    • Own the full opportunity lifecycle from identification to proposal creation, pricing and profitability, and Statement of Work (SOW) execution.
    • Manage opportunities within the sales pipeline, ensuring timely progression and addressing any obstacles.
    • Regularly report on the status of opportunities to leadership, providing clear updates on pipeline health and next steps.
  • Delivery Management
    • Oversee project work at a macro level, ensuring overall quality, alignment with client expectations, and smooth execution.
    • Proactively identify and remove blockers, collaborating with the team to keep projects on track.
    • Assist with staffing decisions and project setup to ensure that the right resources are in place for successful delivery.
    • Ensure delivery quality throughout the project lifecycle and manage project closeout to ensure all goals are met.
  • People Development
    • Serve as a strategic mentor for individuals assigned to accounts, providing guidance on both industry-specific knowledge and consulting skills.
    • Foster an environment of continuous learning, helping team members grow professionally and develop their expertise.
    • Support the career progression of team members, providing feedback and advice on skill development and opportunities for growth.
 Qualifications
  • Consulting Experience: 5-10 years of experience in consulting or adjacent professional services industries, with a proven track record of leading successful client engagements in the areas of digital innovation, product development, and digital adoption.
  • Sales & Account Management: Strong background in sales, account development, and client relationship development or related experience.  Demonstrated ability to identify and drive new business opportunities while managing ongoing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and growth.  Trusted network of relevant relationships that can support the evolution of Cabin.  
  • Relevant Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital transformation, digital strategy, and emerging technologies. Experience working with clients in industries undergoing significant digital change, with the ability to apply that knowledge to drive impactful solutions.
  • Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to provide leadership and influence to both internal teams and clients, driving account growth and delivering high-quality results. Ability to mentor, guide, and motivate team members to excel in their roles while achieving account objectives.
  • Strategic Mindset: Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to align client needs with consulting solutions that deliver measurable value. Comfortable navigating complex accounts, identifying and mitigating risks, and making decisions that influence the overall direction of the business.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the client organization. Collaborative approach to working with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.  Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and in presentation form.  
  • Growth Mindset: Strong desire and hustle to scale a quickly-growing business by leveraging the talents of a high-performing team.  Ability to effectively work within startup environment.  
  • Financial and Operational Acumen:  Experience planning for and managing financial and operational targets and objectives.
  • Business Acumen:  Strong understanding of how to support and build professional services business.
