The Client Advisor position is responsible for driving business development initiatives while managing and expanding a portfolio of high net worth clients. This multifaceted role requires a combination of consultative sales expertise, relationship management skills, and comprehensive wealth planning knowledge. Key responsibilities include prospecting for new client relationships, delivering financial planning solutions, fostering client retention, and collaborating with a team of wealth management specialists to grow the high net worth business of First Commonwealth Advisors.
Business development efforts are generated through referrals from bank partners, centers of influence, and existing client relationships. The Client Advisor serves as a trusted advisor, providing guidance across a broad range of wealth management disciplines, including financial planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
Success in this role requires a strong understanding of wealth management principles, exceptional relationship-building abilities, and the capacity to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively. The Client Advisor must work collaboratively with internal specialists to deliver integrated wealth management strategies, exceed client expectations, and support the achievement of individual and organizational growth objectives.

Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred. Must be knowledgeable in Account Administration. CFP, CTFA, CPA preferred.
2. A minimum of five (5) years related experience preferred.
3. Financial Planning software and capabilities.
4. Strong personal and sales skills required.
5. A valid driver’s license and regional travel required.
