Position Profile:
Reporting to the Unit Leader, the Client Administrator plays a key supporting role within the Accounting/Finance Department, contributing to the efficient operation of client billing, financing and account receivables. This position is responsible for assisting with a variety of finance-related tasks, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high level of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation, review, and distribution of client invoices and billing statements
- Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable (A/R) to ensure timely collections
- Support policy and payroll analysis by compiling data, identifying discrepancies, and providing reports as needed
- Coordinate premium billing and process client payments accurately
- Assist with client financing arrangements, including documentation and payment tracking
- Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with internal controls and compliance standards
- Liaise with internal teams and external clients to resolve billing or payment issues promptly
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes as needed
- Perform a variety of policy premium payroll finance profitability, AR, AP and loss analysis
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a client-facing environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Possesses a passion to help team members
- Ability to enthusiastically support and promote
- Must maintain client confidentiality; demonstrate integrity and code of ethics
- Accountable, adaptable, and flexible
- Attention to detail & ability to multi-task
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of team orientation; strong interpersonal communication skills
