Client Accounting Associate 

At Out of the Box Technology (OOTB), we provide outsourced accounting and financial advisory services to growing businesses across multiple industries. That means you'll be doing real client work from the start — reconciliations, financial close, reporting, and advisory support across a portfolio of clients. You'll see more in two years here than most accountants see in five. 

We’re looking for a recent accounting graduate who is excited to start their career in a fast-paced, multi-client environment. This role is a great opportunity to build a strong accounting foundation while gaining exposure to cloud accounting platforms, automation, and AI-enabled tools.

What You’ll Do 

• Support accounting transformation engagements for newly acquired entities, including chart of accounts cleanup, close process design, and historical restatements 

• Assist with M&A due diligence by pulling financial schedules, normalizing data, and flagging issues before they become deal problems 

• Participate in system implementations and migrations, including QuickBooks Online and Business Central onboarding, account structure design, and client training 

• Help build reporting packages, budget-to-actual frameworks, and financial infrastructure for clients in transition 

• Assist with preparing monthly financial reports and supporting schedules 

• Work within cloud-based accounting systems such as QuickBooks and other financial tools 

• Leverage AI and automation tools to help streamline accounting workflows 

What We’re Looking For 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field 

• 0–2 years of accounting experience or relevant internship experience 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational/project management skills 

• Comfort using AI to achieve objectives and openness to new technology and automation 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
