You will be responsible for:
- Reviewing client financials, including bank and credit card reconciliations, invoicing, billing, treasury management, accounts payable, payroll processing, and expense reporting.
- Integrating data from secondary software (e.g., POS systems, payroll systems) into clients' GL software
- Performing month end closing activities
- Preparing journal entries and gathering respective support for review
- Managing competing deliverables and communicating accordingly with clients and internal team
- Reconciling account balances to supporting schedules
- Conducting investigation on variances
- Preparing work papers and drafting financial statements
- Researching and solving more complex accounting issues
- Identifying and anticipating roadblocks and working to provide solutions
- Writing management reports
- Assisting Managers and Partners with various advisory projects as needed, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and data analysis
- Supervising and assisting in training CAAS Associates
- Interacting with clients in a professional manner

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us:
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or similar related field with a desire to build practical experience in an advisory arena
- 3-4 years of experience in private or public accounting
- QuickBooks Online experience preferred
- Sage experience preferred
- Net Suite experience preferred
- Cost accounting experience preferred
- Understanding of accrual-basis accounting and GAAP
- Experience with drafting financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows) in accordance with US GAAP
