Are you a creative problem solver with a passion for designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces? We’re looking for a talented UI/UX Front-End Developer to bring our digital experiences to life! This position is on site in Quantico, VA and requires a Top-Secret clearance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The User Interface (UI), User Experience (UX), Front-End Expert is responsible for observing user behavior and understanding client vision to improve the design and usability of systems and applications. In close coordination with the Government personnel, the IT Project Manager and software development team, design, build, and maintain aesthetically pleasing/modern interfaces that improve end-users’ abilities while ensuring efficient system operations. Create UI themes for a cohesive systems experience and determine the best ways to incorporate into current systems front end. Understand limitations and provide technical advice wherever necessary to meet client requirements within schedule and budget.
Required Skills / Experience:
• Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI if required
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
Education substitution requires 9+ years’ proven experience providing software design innovative
user interfaces for industry leading software platforms
• 5+ years’ experience as a UI/UX designer delivering innovative user interfaces for current
industry recognized software platforms
• Excellent customer service skills, able to deconstruct user behavior and feedback to create
improved experience for users throughout the development project process
• Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages, and CSS preprocessor tools as well as
HTML5 best practices. Also, possesses a firm understanding of IT project management
principles, Agile/Scrum methodology, and development & operations strategy
• Proficient designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using tools such as Axure,
Sketch, or Invision.
• Ability to interpret and navigate development tools such as .NET, Visual Studio 2019, DevCraft,
JetBrains Resharper, IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, Jama Connect, Bootstrap, or Ombori Grid utilizing
common development languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or SQL

The proposed salary for this position is:
$86,900—$144,900 USD
