Are you a coding enthusiast with a passion for creating innovative software solutions? We’re looking for a talented Software Developer to bring our projects to life. This position is on site in Quantico, VA and requires a Top-Secret clearance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads all aspects of software development efforts by providing technical expertise in the development and application of methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation, design, and delivery of software applications. Leads the identification, prioritization, and execution of tasks across the software development lifecycle and assists the IT Project Manager translate business processes, customer requirements, block diagrams, and logical flow charts into software development requirements. Oversees software development by implementing an Agile software development strategy utilizing a Scrum, Extreme Programming, Feature-Driven Development, or similar framework for the delivery of rapid and efficient development. Responsible for successful delivery of custom applications and tools in the cloud or on-premises platforms as well as the enhancement of existing applications and tools. Support/mentor junior developers throughout the development process.
Required Skills / Experience:
• Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI if required
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Competent full stack software developer with experience utilizing development tools such as .NET, Visual Studio 2019, DevCraft, JetBrains Resharper, IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, Jama Connect,
Bootstrap, or Ombori Grid utilizing common development languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or SQL
• Ability to work in a high paced environment incorporating IT project management principles, Agile/Scrum software development methodology, and development & operations (DevOps) strategy for IT Programs
• Independently or as a team, interpret functional requirements and front-end prototypes to develop
technical requirements for development
• Experience as a software tester able to prepare sample test data, conduct program tests, analyze test results, and document the process and findings to include recommended corrections for debugging program errors
Mid-Level Qualifications:
- Experience using project management software such as Jira or Azure DevOps as part of daily
operations - 5+ years’ experience in full stack software development utilizing development tools such as .NET, Visual Studio 2019, DevCraft, JetBrains Resharper, IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, Jama Connect,
Bootstrap, or Ombori Grid utilizing common development languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or SQL - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline. Education substitution requires 9+ years’ proven experience providing software development to
complex systems using current software development tools and languages
Senior-Level Qualifications:
- 3+ years proven experience leading software development teams of 5 or more developers delivering software application/tools meeting requirements, budget, and schedule
- 8+ years’ experience in full stack software development utilizing development tools such as.NET, Visual Studio 2019, DevCraft, JetBrains Resharper, IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, Jama Connect,
- Bootstrap, or Ombori Grid utilizing common development languages such as C#, Java, Python,JavaScript, Ruby, or SQL
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline. Education substitution requires 13+ years’ proven experience providing software development to complex systems using current software development tools and languages

The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications. The proposed salary for this position is:
$70,000—$180,000 USD
