Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for maintaining and optimizing IT infrastructure? We’re looking for a skilled System Administrator to ensure our systems run smoothly and efficiently! This position is on site in Quantico, VA and requires a Top-Secret clearance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and maintaining clients IT systems and networks by ensuring smooth operations of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage devices, networks, and databases. Assists with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of laptops/desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines. Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems. Maintain user accounts. Interact with numerous platforms in a multi-layered client server environment. Perform system administration tasks such as server administration, system monitoring, and patch maintenance.
Required Skills / Experience:
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline. Education substitution requires 5+ years’ experience as a system
administrator responsible for organizing, installing, and supporting IT networks and systems
• Experience as a system administrator for a large local area network or wide area network environment performing hardware and software installation, testing, and operation; experience
with Windows Server administration; experience managing virtual environments; knowledge of the principles of routing, firewalls, and client/server applications; experience with troubleshooting
and issue resolution principles, methodologies, and techniques.
• One of the following certifications is preferred: Red Hat Certified System Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer, CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Security+, ServiceNow Certified System
Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or other certifications exemplifying skill sets needed to manage the design, operations, and maintenance of IT systems

The proposed salary for this position is:
$58,000—$114,500 USD
