That’s all well and good, but despite our high-tech profile, we recognize that none of this is possible without our people. Which is why we’re thrilled to be adding a Cleared Senior Engineer (Top Secret / SCI) to our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment. Ideally, you’ll be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.
This position will focus on government high-side deployments, and you’ll play a key role in supporting the broader engineering team by helping non-cleared teammates develop features and debug issues that can only be reproduced in classified environments.
Here’s what you’ll be working on:
- Building cutting-edge user interfaces – bridging human interaction with AI
- Collaborating with the AI team to optimize results and performance
- Working with the product management team to ideate new features
- Supporting and unblocking non-cleared engineers by reproducing, debugging, and validating issues in secure environments
- Developing and maintaining software deployed on government high-side systems
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Management Information Systems
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Locality to Washington, DC
- Active security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Experience working in secure, air-gapped, or classified environments
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, and Python
- Experience with FastAPI
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as ReactJS
- Microservice implementation and design experience
- Deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting local Docker environments
- Strong grasp of Unit Testing and SOLID principles
- Experience with Docker Compose and lightweight Kubernetes distributions such as K3S
- Familiarity with edge-based Identity Providers (e.g., Authentik, Keycloak)
- Redis Cache integration
- Modern CI/CD platforms and workflows
- Permanent eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship
