Details
- $17.00/hour
- 40 hours per week
- 9-month position from mid-August to mid-May. If interested, summer hours may be available through HIT, Inc.
- Children attend Head Start on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Wednesdays are used for classroom prep and staff training.
- May obtain CDL to drive small school bus. Head Start pays for CDL training.
Essential job duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Adhere to all principles of confidentiality.
- Clean Head Start areas and bus.
- Maintain playgrounds – i.e. snow and ice removal, mow, sweep sidewalks, pick up trash, etc.
- Prepare and cleanup for meals and snacks.
- Assist in the classroom.
- Grocery shopping.
- Report bus mileage.
- Submit maintenance request for facility maintenance and bus upkeep.
- Attend Safety and Sanitation training.
- Successfully complete CPR and First Aid
- Drive bus routes, when applicable.
