Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who can positively interact with our customers, potential responsible parties, as well as other employees. As a Claims Research Specialist, we expect you to process utility property and damage claims in accordance with CMR's established guidelines and procedures.
On a Typical Day, You'll
- Verify that data is accurate and complete
- Analyze and research information to determine the correct party is being billed
- Record claim information via data entry into CMR's customized software applications
- Respond to client and potential responsible party requests for information via email and telephone
- Communicate with co-workers, management, and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Required Skills
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Accurate data review and data entry skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and processing skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize work
- Organized, thorough and detail-oriented
- Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish an appropriate work environment within your own home, including a high-speed internet connection. CMR provides the necessary computer equipment and a monthly reimbursement for home internet service.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Adjuster experience and licensing strongly preferred
- 2 years of clerical experience preferred

Tiered Support Bonus System
The following bonus structure is based on total fees generated across CMR during the month. Bonuses are paid per pay period on the paycheck following the period in which it is earned. This is additional money earned for doing your job!
- Level 1 = $90
- Level 2 = $130
- Level 3 = $175
