We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cinematic Artist to join our dynamic video team in Singapore. As a Cinematic Artist, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling and visually stunning cinematics for Level Infinite's portfolio of video games. You will work closely with the Head of Video and collaborate with other artists and developers to bring our games to life through captivating storytelling and high-quality cinematic content. You will be expected to leverage your experience with game engines to create and capture the best possible footage as well as creatively solve technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
Create high-quality cinematic sequences and trailers that showcase the best of Level Infinite's games.
Setup Cinematic sequences in Unreal 5, including working with Animation, Lighting, VFX, Camera, Composition and assume responsibility for entire shots from start to finish.
Utilize in-game assets, marketing builds, and expertly navigate game engine editors to capture stunning gameplay footage.
Assemble captured footage into cohesive and engaging trailer edits.
Work closely with the Head of Video to ensure that all cinematics align with the overall creative vision and brand guidelines.
Solve creative and technical challenges related to game capture and cinematic production, including debugging game builds and optimizing engine settings for cinematic purposes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cinematography, editing, and game engines.
Contribute to the development of creative storytelling techniques and workflows.
Maintain a strong understanding of edit pipelines and workflows
Work closely with game developers to receive the latest builds of games.
5+ years of experience in cinematic production for games, TV, film, or entertainment.
A strong artistic eye for cinematics and high-quality visual storytelling
Demonstrated experience working within game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) to create cinematic content.
Extensive experience capturing game footage using marketing builds and game engine editors.
Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Solid understanding of cinematography principles, including composition, lighting, and camera movement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
A passion for video games and the gaming industry.
