Join Markets Post-Trade Technology as a Strategy Associate and help shape the agenda driving the new chapter of our Markets franchise. You’ll work at the intersection of data, narrative and leadership – synthesising complex, disparate inputs into clear stories that align senior stakeholders and accelerate the outcomes that will scale our business.

You will play a central role across our most critical workstreams as we convergence and rationalize our platform strategy – bringing structure, content and context to key deliverables and ensuring the division remains outcome-driven at pace. You’ll craft compelling materials for senior leadership and build the frameworks that translate strategic ambition into measurable progress.

We are seeking candidates with experience in strategy, business management or technology advisory, gained in consulting, a financial institution or technology environment. You’ll bring strong analytical rigour, exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence. If you are energized by complexity and ready to turn it into clarity, apply to join our team at Post Trade Technology.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategic agenda for Markets Post-Trade Technology in partnership with senior leadership—translate business priorities into a measurable portfolio roadmap advancing platform convergence and rationalisation.

  • Drive senior-level alignment through disciplined, outcome-based narrative—synthesise complex inputs (technology, operations, risk, architecture, delivery) into concise executive materials that enable decisions and clarify trade-offs.

  • Maintain portfolio governance and execution cadence—run decision forums and steerco routines; maintain end-to-end oversight of milestones, interlocks, and critical dependencies across workstreams.

  • Maintain transparency and accountability against commitments—track outcome metrics (e.g., KRIs/OKR-style indicators), ensure deliverables remain traceable to business requirements, and produce senior-ready reporting on progress, risks, and actions.

  • Drive cross-functional execution in partnership with technology, operations, and business stakeholders—support sequencing, resourcing, and adoption planning from initiation through release and operationalisation.

  • Drive proactive management of portfolio risks and issues—surface constraints early, coordinate mitigation plans, and escalate with structured options and recommendations.

  • Support change management for priority initiatives—coordinate communications, operating model impacts, training/readiness activities, and process alignment to sustain adoption.

  • Maintain strategy-to-execution frameworks and artefacts—standardize templates, dashboards, and single-source-of-truth materials to improve consistency, decision velocity, and oversight.

  • Support continuous improvement in portfolio management discipline—identify process enhancements, incorporate best practices, and mentor junior team members on structured problem-solving and executive communication.
