We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with native C++ and also CI/CD experience to maintain and enhance our client’s continuous integration and deployment system. This role is dedicated to supporting a specialized development team by ensuring the CI/CD infrastructure remains robust, efficient, and scalable.
You’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving an existing CI/CD pipeline—so this is much more than a user role. You’ll need experience working directly on CI/CD systems, plus a practical understanding of C++ and native application builds.
What You Will Be Doing:- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance an existing CI/CD system.
- Perform bug fixes and implement enhancements to improve CI/CD workflows.
- Support native application development by managing C++ build processes.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth and reliable code integration and deployment.
- Monitor build performance and optimize for efficiency and reliability.
- Proven experience maintaining and enhancing CI/CD systems (not just using them).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
- Good practical knowledge of native C++ application development.
- Understanding of DLLs, libraries, and the C++ build process.
- Experience with troubleshooting build and deployment issues in a complex development environment.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with development teams.
- Experience working in agile or DevOps-oriented environments.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Knowledge of cross-platform C++ development
