At Grace Church we are committed to plant 100 new churches or campuses by 2036. We are excited for this journey, and we invite you to take part in it. We have a church planting network & residency all designed to train and equip those with a heart to plant churches. Our Residency is 12 months, with the aim of being ready to launch a new independent church. We will work with you to develop mission, vision, values, website, non-profit status and so much more.
A Grace Church, Church Planting Resident helps prepare to start an independent church plant.
What to Expect:- · Cultivate a close daily walk and relationship with Christ
- · Learn to care for the church’s spiritual needs and spiritual developmental goals
- · Participate in sermon series topic planning, creative planning, as well as weekend review
- · Gain exposure and experience in all ministries
- · Learn how systems and processes work, to apply them in future contexts
- · Develop budgets for an independent church and how to manage those budgets
- · Attend Church Planting Network meetings
- · Research and develop a master plan for a church plant
- · Recruit and develop a Church Planting Lead Team
- · Raise funds for the future church plant
- · Complete the church planters task list month to month
- · Attend coaching meetings and invest in the coaching relationship
- · Prepare for, attend, and fully engage in all scheduled class training. This includes completing all assigned reading.
- · Assist with any other projects requested
- · Meets the pastoral character qualifications of 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
- · Teachable and receives coaching well
- · Evidence of God’s calling on their life
- · Exhibits a servant’s heart, sacrifice, and faithfulness
- · Has a strong work ethic and is a self-starter
- · Ensures good stewardship of both personal and ministry funds and resources
- · Always serve as a positive representative of Grace Church
- · Maintains complete confidentiality with sensitive information
- · Demonstrate God’s calling on your life
